  • What stationery products do you offer?

  • What designs can I choose from?
    Have a browse through my Signature and Design Collections. Feel free to customise the designs to suit your colours and style (customisation options are provided next to each collection). If you’d like something completely different, please fill in my bespoke enquiry form.
  • I love one of your designs but I would prefer a different font. Is this possible?
    Yes of course. Here are the font options below. I have matched the scriptive font with my recommended body font as follows.
  • Can any of the design collections be made into any stationery product?
    Yes, if you don’t see the specific product in the design collection you’ve chosen, I will create it for you (with no extra design cost). All of the design collections can be created into any of the available stationery products.
  • What type of card are invitations printed on?
    There’s a selection of different paper finishes available. I have provided my preferred print finish for each of my collections but you can request a different finish if you wish. Here are the paper finishing options explained below: ​ Gesso - a watercolour textured white card, heavy weight Nettuno - a white linear textured card, lighter in weight than the gesso Acquerello - a cream linear textured card, same weight as the nettuno Polar shimmer - a touch of sparkle on a white shimmer card Pearl shimmer - a touch of sparkle on a cream shimmer card Premium cream - a soft touch heavy weight card perfect for illustrations
  • Can I choose my envelope colour?
    Yes, you can choose from: Kraft brown, silver, gold, polar shimmer, pearl shimmer or any matt colour to match your colour scheme. You can opt for a personalised envelope sticker to seal if you wish. This is recommended if you decide to add a ribbon to your invitation.
  • Do you have any suggestions for how to word my invitations?
    There is no set rule as to how you should word your invitations. However, if you’d like to see some of the most popular ways to word your invitations, please download my Invitation Guide here..
  • What are the signage options for Table Plans, Welcome Signs and Order of the Day signs?
    All signage can be printed in A4, A3, A2 or A1 size, landscape or portrait. ​ All signage is mounted onto a 5mm foamex board with a matt lamination ready for use indoors or outdoors. There’s no need for extra mounting or framing, the foamex board is nice and sturdy to stand perfectly on an easel. Optional extras: Upgrade to an upper arch; Opt to have drilled holes in the corners for hanging/attachments (if you don’t intend using an easel).
  • Do you offer any packages?
    My current packages are listed below: Gift Print Package ​ Order all of the following products from any of the Signature or Design Collections and receive a free A3 framed personalised gift print from the chosen collection worth £65: ​ Invitations, Table Plan, Welcome Sign, Table Names and Place Names. Signage Package ​ Order an A2 Table Plan and A2 Welcome Sign from any of the Signature or Design Collections for £120; Order an A1 Table Plan and A1 Welcome Sign from any of the Signature or Design Collections for £180. Thank You Package ​ As a thank you for choosing me to create your wedding stationery, I will provide you with a discount coupon towards your Thank You Cards.
  • Do you offer digital products?
    Yes. I offer digital invitations which are sent to you as a pdf ready for sending to your guests via email or Whatsapp. Please note, digital invitations do not include personalised guest names. On request, I can create digital artwork for your wedding website. Generally, these are bespoke requests. All designs in my Signature Collection are not available for digital use.
  • How do I order?
    Please fill out the enquiry form that best suits your requirements: ​ Please complete with as much information as possible. I will get back to you via email with a quotation and you can order thereafter. I will provide an invoice with payment details. I kindly request a 30% deposit prior to artwork creation and the remaining 70% is due following artwork approval, prior to print. If you’d like to order any of my gift prints, please use the shop to do this.
  • How long will it take to receive my order?
    This really depends on what you are ordering and what your deadline is. WindyHill is a solo business so I tend to work on a priority basis of the wedding day deadline. Below is a general turnaround expectation: Save The Dates: 10 working days (2 weeks) following artwork approval Flat or Folded Invitations: 10 working days (2 weeks) following artwork approval Invitation Bundles (ready to send): 15 working days (3 weeks) following artwork approval On The Day Stationery: 10 working days (2 weeks) following artwork approval Artwork Turnaround Time: please allow up to 15 working days for the artwork turnaround time. This includes time for me to create the artwork, for you to approve the artwork and suggest any changes, for me to then make those changes, for you to complete a final approval and finally time for me to prepare files to be sent off to my external printer.
  • Do you post the order or can I collect?
    Either - and generally what suits you best. If you don’t live nearby I can organise to post out to you (postage fee will be added to quotation if you request this option). Alternatively, you can collect from our bakery - John Adam Bakery, 37-39 High Street, Innerleithen, EH44 6HD on a Thursday or Friday 06:00-16:00, or Saturday morning 06:00-13:00. If an evening collection works better for you, this can be arranged when you make your order.
  • Can you recommend other wedding suppliers?
    Yes, definitely. I attend local wedding shows and there are so many talented local businesses around.
